Timber Decks

Garden decking is usually an outdoor  timber construction creating a recreational area or a platform and link from one place to another, above and close to the ground.

Different levels of decking can be constructed with steps, rails, supports, fences, trellis,  balustrades, storage areas, lighting, seating and covering unsightly surfaces and can create an almost seamless transition from the inside and outside worlds if next to a building, or new spaces elsewhere.

The photographs below include a bamboo deck, made from laminate fibrous bamboo; a great alternative to a hardwood and invisibly fixed. A concrete block planter offers an attractive border when planted up.
